Introduction
Dept. of Botany is established in June
1984 with 08 students at F.Y. B.Sc level by our former
principal B.S. Solunke. This Dept. is integral part of the
college and is one of the best Dept. of Lice Sciences. The
Dept. runs two courses viz B.Sc. (Three years degree course
as one of the opt. subject) and M.Sc. (Botany- Two years
degree course) also a recognized research center for
S.R.T.M.U, Nanded. It has approx. 1700 sq.ft built area Dr.
B.V. Hallale is heading the Dept. of Botany.
Strong points of the Department
In a short span of time Dept. has earned
lot of reputation for providing quality education and
fulfilling growing needs within the district and SRTMU
Nanded Jurisdiction. Dept. consists of well equipped
Laboratory with Computing facility enabling the students to
work. Enough laboratory time is made available to the
students for maximum utilization of laboratory.
Our main strength is highly qualified and
experienced faculty members actively engaged in research and
are very enthusiastic in learning & updating their skills.
Faculty members are always ready to guide
students apast from regular teaching hours.
