English department is involved in studies of all faculties. It is the first and compulsory language for B.A. B.Com and B.Sc. studies.

The department is also offering the Postgraduate course in Master of Arts. English department recognized the knowledge of English in the corporate world and has started a Remedial course as well as a Bridge course for undergraduate students.

The department has subscribed journals and magazines and research work on topics like" Indian writings in English and Indian Vernacular Wrtings" Photonics, Linguistics is being carried out.
