Geology department is
established in the year 1986. The subject is studies on
the undergraduate level of the Science stream.
The Department is
linked with CENTER FOR EARTH SCIENCE STUDIES, TRIVENDRAM
in research work. The department has the departmental
library. Geology department take efforts in creating
awareness about the subject of Geology among the
students of school and colleges the department is
arranging the exhibition and publishing the wall
magazines.
Faculty of Geology is
actively engaged in delivering the lectures on emerging
problems of water resources, earthquake, water pollution
remote sensing at school and college level and on All
India Radio. Faculty is called for hydrological survey
by non-government organization. |
