Introduction
The Department is oriented towards
innovations in teaching of History at graduate as well as
post-graduate level. Arts & Architectural history of the
region is one of the specialized areas of prominence in
addition to the traditional subjects.
Strong points of the Department
The Department is working on the local
History of the region from ancient to contemporary period.
Besides the development of Art & Architecture in the region
is highlighted in terms of giving projects to the students
of UG as well as PG.
