The Department of
Marathi was established with the inception of the
college. The faculty of the department is engaged in
teaching to undergraduate course of Arts, Commerce and
Science stream.
The Department is also
running postgraduate course. The faculty are also
engaged in research work as well as some of them are
authors and poets.
*Waman Kardak Yanchi
Geet Rachana (Waman Kardak's Composition of songs)

by Mr. Gilbile (Vasekar) : 1) Kavita Lahanpanchya 2)
Sakshatkar, 3) Chadwa, 4) Garya Bhingorya and 5)
Dehabhul.
1) Shri. M.N. Bulange
is a good actor and acted in several marathi pictures
and serials such as "Ajacha Divas Gamticha", "Zunj",
"Rag Anurag", "Janta Janardhan".
2) Shri Gilbile K.B. (Vasekar)
is well known Poet in Marathi and has published 6 books
on poems and 3 books on other subjects. He has got 3
State Level Awards He runs a private publication company
and has published 50 books. His poems are included in
the course curriculum in M.A. Marathi. His poem are also
translated in Hindi and English Languages.
3) Shri. Lomte A.S. is
a well known Journalist and Story Writer. He works for
Daily Loksatta. |
