Introduction:

Department Urdu was established in 1984.since the inception of the college there have been a large number of students enrolling in Urdu language and literature. In 1990 70 to 80 students were present in Urdu language. This year MA Urdu also provided this is the first time this college has received the honor in Parbhani. Due to the establishment of this department today about 25 students are serving as senior lecturer a various positions. This is an honor. Many of the students were junior lecturers and engaged in teaching. It is also important that more than 35 students in this department pass the UGC NET exam

 شعبہ اردو کا تعارف:

                        گیانُ اپاسک کالج میں شعبہ ارود کا قیام سن 1984میں ہوا ۔ اس وقت سے کثیر تعداد میں طلباء یہاں تعلیم حاصل کررہے ہیں۔سال

 1990 میں70 سے 80 طلباء  اردو ادب  کے  موجود تھے ۔اس بات کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے اسی سال کالج میں ایم ۔اے اردو کورس بھی شروع کیا گیا ۔

شہرِ پربھنی میں سب سے پہلے ایم ۔ اے اردو کورس شروع کرنے کا اعزاز بھی اسی کالج کو حاصل ہے۔اس شعبے کے قیام کی وجہ سے 25 سے زیادہ طلباء اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر، اسوسیٹ پروفیسر ،پروفیسراور صدر شعبہ کی حیثیت سے مختلف مقامات پراردو ادب کی خدمات انجام دے رہے ہیں ۔اس شعبے کے 40 سے زیادہ طلباء یو ۔جی۔سی نیٹ امتحان میں  کامیابی حاصل کرچکے ہیں۔مراٹھواڑہ کے کالجیس میں اردو ریسرچ سینٹر بھی سب سے پہلے اسی شعبہ کو قائم کرنے کا اعزاز حاصل رہا ہے جس کے تحت 15طلباءکو پی۔ ایچ۔ ڈی کی ڈگری عطا ہوئی۔ پیٹ امتحان کی تیاری کے لیے کورس ورک میں بھی اس شعبہ نے اپنی خدمات انجام دی ہیں۔اس شعبے میں نیٹ،سیٹ اور پیٹ کی رہنمائی بھی کی جاتی ہے اس کے لیے باقاعدہ کلاسس کا انعقاد کی جاتا ہے۔  شعبہ اردو کے طلبا ء کالج کی سرگرمیوں کے علاہ دیگر ثقافتی سرگرمیوں میں جوش  و خروش سے شامل ہوتے ہیں اور  اول ، دوم انعامات واعزازات بھی حاصل کرتے ہیں ۔شعبہ اردو اپنے تمام تر صلاحیتوں کے ساتھ زبان وادب کی ترقی و توسیع میں مشغول

                         اردو زبان ہندوستان کی گنگا جمنی تہذیب کی امین ہے ۔اردو زبان مسلمانوں کی ہی نہیں بلکہ ہر ہندوستانی کی زبان ہے۔یہ ایک سیکولر زبان ہے ۔یہ زبان صوفی اور درویشوں کی زبان رہی ہے۔اردو زبان نے ہر دور میں دلوں میں محبت اور یک جہتی کو بڑھانے کا کام کیا ہے۔ اردو صرف ہندوستان میں ہی نہیں بلکہ پوری دنیا میں بولی جانے والی نہایت شائستہ و شیریں زبان ہے۔ اردو زبان کی اسی شیرینی کو قائم و دائم رکھنے اور اپنی تہذیب و ثقافت کے لیے گیان اُپاسک کالج کا شعبہ اردو ہمیشہ سے کوشاں تھا اور انشا اللہ مستقبل میں بھی سرگرمِ عمل رہے گا۔
