                        This institute is one of the most preferred institutions by the students of this region. Hence, the institution ensures publicity/announcement for admission process since beginning through its prospectus, website brochure, advertisement in newspapers for PG and B. Voc. courses and the personal contact of the alumni, peers, teaching and non teaching staff along with other institutional members and well wishers as well as the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).

Publicity :

The institution ensures publicity for the admission process through college prospectus for UG and PG courses. It is separately published in the commencement of the academic year mentioning campus profile, location, vision, mission, objectives and goals of the institution. The details of the academic programmes offered, admission eligibility criteria and procedures, scholarship and fees structure along with other distinct facilities available such as, hostel, library, sports facilities, etc. for the students in general are also noted in the prospectus.

                        The college website displays online information brochure accessible to requisite details about the college, the admission process and availability of courses on the campus. Advertisement is broadcasted on all India radio (AIR) local channels, in leading local newspapers and local news channel to ensure publicity for PG; B.Voc courses. Admission details are provided in particular. Admission notifications in local and english language are displayed on notice boards kept at the entrance and at other locations of significance. For professional courses like BCA and B.Sc.(CS), the students are asked to register as per the government reservation policy and the University notification. The students are admitted on the basis of the academic merit. Similar, procedure is followed in addition to the entrance test for B.Voc. programme.

Transparency in the Admission Process :

                        The process is as per the guidelines of the state government and the affiliating parent University. The strict adherence to the norms of reservation quota for the respective categories as per the state government reservation policy allows due representation to various sections of the society. This ensures equity and transparency. The admission committee gears up the admission procedure taking into account the pros and cons of the situation.

                        The admission brochure details the process at the start of the academic year kept available online on the website of the institution. Members of admission committee guide the students regarding the rules and regulations of the admission process, institution and help in filling registration cum admission forms enclosed with necessary documents like eligibility form and migration certificate along with requisite original documents. Since, all admissions are computerized, the incumbent candidates are provided with college identification number for further use. All admissions are offered provisional subject to approval, verification and eligibility from Parent University. The Principal reserves the right to finalize the admission. Students are instructed to preserve all college receipts without which no fees is refunded or no dues are cleared. College identity and library card are issued immediately after admission.  Lists of admitted students are displayed on notice board after verification of the documents.

After completion of the admission process, the institution reviews and recommends changes if required.

Review Process :

                        Daily report register is maintained stating a number of students admitted per course/subject and subject combination. Admission committee reviews the process to maintain rules/regulations, guidelines for admission as per Affiliating University, state government, and also strictly adheres to   the reservation policy of Maharashtra State. The ICT facilitates the admission process to be more rapid and eco-friendly by reducing paper work and also generates the student profile report. The committee also reviews and recommends the need and relevance of the existing programmes. The course/subject with high demand ratio ascertains the need of new programme under self finance, COC, B.Voc streams. The suitable measures are suggested for programmes with less demand ratio.

Admission Criterion :

                        The criteria adopted are based on merit and past academic track record in qualifying examination as prescribed by the affiliating university. The students are eligible for admission to the first year degree course (UG) with at least 35% of marks at 10+2 level, and at least 40% of marks at the UG to get admission to the first year master's degree (PG) courses. Previous qualifying examination merit is considered for high demand. The marks in the optional subject at the undergraduate course are considered for admission to the PG courses in the respective subject. The admission to the Ph.D. programmes follows strict guidelines allocated by the affiliating university. Admission to COC courses or other value added courses are through personal interviews.
