Introduction :

 Dnyanopasak Shikshan Mandal  introduced Mathematics as one of the optional subjects  at  under graduate level from beginning  of  the college i.e. in the year 1984. In its infancy, the department was having just 3 (three) students. College started post graduate course in Mathematics on permanently non-grant basis in June 1993.

B.Sc.(optional), and M.Sc. in Mathematics are offered by the department. Present age of the department is 39 years. 37 batches of U.G. and 29 batches of  P.G. have been trained and coached till July 2023. Presently 1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professor for U.G. Mathematics ,  and 3 Post Graduate Teachers for P.G. Mathematics are working in the department. Many students trained from this department are serving in central and state government services

1. 1. UG (B.Sc. )                      

               Must have passed 10+2 examination in Science with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.

   2. P.G.(M.Sc.) Must have passed B. Sc. with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.

Laboratory Facilities :

Department has a good infrastructure with a computer lab of size 22 X 10 feet. Computers have Broadband internet connection. The department also has a Wi-Fi facility. Department has following equipments:

• 1 LCD Projector for ICT based education
